This film succeeds where mainstream festival coverage typically fails in portraying the communal fun, frivolity and family gatherings that real people enjoy most of all at festivals. Whilst GuilFest may lack the megabudget international headliners that higher profile events like Reading and V Festival attract, it more than compensates in the overall experience, as this film gracefully demonstrates.
