ALBUM INFO
2004 Mar Live At Shepherds Bush Empire 2 x CD it has to be said that "Shepherds Bush" was recorded during a massive key period in Numan's astonishing career, and all the atmosphere and excitement of such an event are captured here unrelenting through all 21 tracks. Gary was enjoying recognition at last, for his superb song writing with the excellent covers album "Random" and deservedly, with his most recent outputs "Sacrifice" and "Exile", for the first time in his long career he was enjoying credible reviews at the hands of the press. The set starts with a ripping version of the classic "Down in the Park" but really clicks into action with "Dominion Day" Numan and his band are obviously on fine form, the "Pure Version" of "Friends" is
stunning. The live versions of "Voix" "We are so Fragile" and "An Alien Cure" (with its very tribal drumming) surely rank as "must" for any
Numanoid.
