Numan the name Numan was taken from Yellow
Pages when Gary came across the name
Neumann he dropped e and the extra nand ended up with NUMAN. Cars
quickly went to number one it also reached
the American top ten.
Gary
was now greeted as one of
Britain
's biggest stars. He put together a hugely
elaborate, futuristic stage show and went
on a money-losing tour, and also began to
indulge his hobby as an amateur pilot with
his newfound wealth.
