A number of black vinyl version of Jagged appeared E-Bay. As you probably know the album was pressed in white vinyl. However, some six test pressings were made for various people and stores to check out and these were pressed in black vinyl. Now the reason for telling you all this is because Gary Numan had another small run of black vinyl pressed, about 250 apparently. These are not test pressings though, just regular mass produced pressings. So, if the idea of having a rare test pressing appeals and you don't mind parting with silly amounts of money, then the one on E-Bay is for you. However, if you just want a black vinyl version, somwhat rarer than the white but nowhere near as rare as the test pressing, then you might want to wait a short while as they are on their way.

I would also like to point out that the vinyl version of the Jagged album is nothing to do with me in that I didn't press it or design it and nor do I have any contractual tie up with it. The deal is that 1,000 whites were pressed, legally I hasten to add, by another company and I have been given some to sell at gigs and on the web site as my share of the deal. A very simple and easy to manage arrangement in these hectic times. So, please don't think that the E-Bay situation and the new black version has anything to do with me because it doesn't. Having said all that though I think it looks fantastic and I'm very glad to see it out there and even more glad to see just how much fans seem to be interested in it. Maybe vinyl should be back on a regular basis.
2006 April Small Black Box 2xCD The Jagged Tour CD
The Jagged Tour 2006 audio programme.
This audio tour programme contains over two hours of interviews based on 50
questions sent in by Numan fans and the media, all answered in some depth by
Gary Numan. They are mainly concerned with the new Jagged album although some do
move beyond that. it also contains a great deal of music, most of which is not
available anywhere else. You you will hear demo versions of many Jagged songs
plus clips from alternate versions still to be released and some new songs, some
of which may be released in the future, some that may not.

Gary Numan's "In a Dark Place" single was released July 17th. Numan
and Co. decided not to go for a place in the charts, but make this single a
collector's special instead. In A Dark Place was available as CD and 7"
picture disc vinyl release and as a download.

The 2nd disc is the Berserker Tour video. It seems to be the same track listing as the original VHS release from 1985.
The first disc just looks like the usual 'Receiver' compilation - the same mix of studio and live tracks churned out for the umpteenth time. Gary has no control over these releases..
Of course, the DVD makes this one slightly more interesting, but the Berserker Tour video has been released on DVD before and can easily be found in UK shops.
